Purge-it is an Oracle Validated software solution.
In this blog post we look at what this means and how it adds value for customers.
What is Oracle Validated Integration (OVI)?
Oracle Validated Integration, known as OVI, is a formal process that Klik IT, as an Oracle partner, has followed to provide customers with added reassurance. Specifically, OVI provides Oracle customers with increased confidence that:
- The partner’s integration (in this case, Purge-it by Klik IT) has been tested and validated as functionally and technically sound.
- The partner solution is integrated with an Oracle Application or Oracle Fusion Middleware product in a standardized, reliable way.
- The integration operates and performs as documented.
How can OVI help customers?
OVI can help customers reduce time and risk when implementing and integrating third-party solutions alongside Oracle products. They can also provide for smoother upgrades and simpler maintenance.
When considering which Oracle partner to work with, customers may be evaluating factors such as features and functionality, license cost and support availability. However, as part of the evaluation process, Oracle customers can also consider a partner’s alignment with Oracle via Oracle Validated Integration.
What is the criteria for achieving OVI?
All validation is conducted with the current release of the Oracle Application. At the time of writing this blog article, it is JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 with 64-bit.
What does it mean when a company displays the Oracle Validated Integration Expertise badge?
Oracle partners who have successfully completed the Oracle Validated Integration program are authorized to use the Oracle Validated Integration logo.
Why Klik IT places great value on achieving OVI for JD Edwards E1
As part of the process of developing an add on to JD Edwards we thought it was important to go through the Oracle validated integration program.
Klik has been an Oracle Partner since 2004 and Purge-it has gone through the Oracle Validated Integration program at various releases, most recently under JD Edwards 9.2 64-bit.
Purge-it’s OVI provides customers with the confidence that Purge-it is designed to work well with JD Edwards. It has been checked and approved by Oracle to be a sound, well integrated product, thus reducing risks and potential costs of implementation for customers.
Being part of the Oracle Validated Integration program gives four great benefits:
- Access to the latest releases of JD Edwards
- Reserved system codes for Purge-it
- Access to the JD Edwards product team in Denver
- Provides customers with confidence when purchasing Purge-it
