• How do I upgrade to Purge-it Version 5.2?

Purge-it customers on Annual Maintenance can download the latest version of Purge-it  directly from the Klik IT portal.  However due to the technical changes required to configure the Archive the Archive functionality, it is recommended that Klik IT is engaged to perform the upgrade process.

Klik is currently offering a reduced fixed price package for all customers on annual maintenance.

• How do I know what version of Purge-it we currently have?

To find out what version of Purge-it you’re running, enquire on the 98/RL UDC table in JD Edwards. Use the prefix KPRG.

• What version of JD Edwards is Version 5.2 compatible with?

Version 5.2 of Purge-it is available for JD Edwards releases 9.1 and above.

• We’ve lost our Purge-it expertise internally. How can we address this?

We recognize that in some cases your JD Edwards archiving solution, Purge-it can become neglected. This can be for a range of reasons - other IT projects may have taken priority, day to day pressures may have knocked archiving off your ‘to do’ list or the individuals who purchased and trained on Purge-it may have moved on.

Purge-it Reboot is a programme designed to address this with a range of options from catch-up archiving, DIY archiving (following training to equip you with the skills and knowledge you’ll need) through to the ‘as a Service’ model (Archiving as a Service).

• How many versions of Purge-it are there?

Purge-it is available for most releases of JD Edwards from Xe/ERP8, through 8.xx, 9.xx to the latest version of JDE, Release 24.

• How often does Klik release new versions of Purge-it?

Annual software updates increase the range of functionality and bring added value to Purge-it users. Smaller software updates may also be released during the year as required.

• How can I get a Purge-it demo?
